Dal vigneto più alto, prossimo al centro aziendale della Tenuta di Sesta nasce il brunello COSTA DI MONTE: l’accurata selezione delle uve migliori di questa vigna tardiva regala profumi intensi e un’ottima freschezza al gusto, che ne fanno una peculiare espressione del nostro territorio. La personalità unica di questo vigneto ha indotto la decisione di evidenziare le caratteristiche olfattive e di gusto del suo Brunello con una produzione differenziata.

CAMPONOVO: produced from two traditional wine varieties, Sangiovese from the youngest vineyards is blended with Colorino giving sweet notes of red fruits on the palate. The new label mantains its warm orange colour and portrays the rolling hills on our estate, gentle silhouettes evoking the rows of vines where Camponovo originates.

POGGIO D'ARNA: Wine with international flair. Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc in an elegant blend with its intense aromas and enveloping taste.

On this second label, we wanted to feature the hills of the Tenuta di Sesta estate. The highest peak is that of Poggio d'Arna at whose feet the red tower of the historical Villa di Sesta rises up from the shades of blue hills.

Il Camponovo: vino prodotto da due vitigni tradizionali in cui il Sangiovese delle vigne più giovani si unisce al Colorino che dona dolci note di frutta rossa al palato. La nuova etichetta mantiene un colore caldo, arancione e vuole descrivere le dolci colline della nostra tenuta, morbidi profili dove si possono immaginare i filari dei vigneti da cui proviene.

Il Poggio d'Arna: vino dal gusto internazionale, il Sangiovese si unisce al Merlot e al Cabernet Franc in un elegante bland dai profumi intensi e dal gusto avvolgente. Con questa seconda opera si è voluto rappresentare il profilo delle colline della Tenuta di Sesta, la vetta più alta è quella di Poggio d'Arna ai cui piedi, immersa in sfumate colline blu, spunta imponente la Torre rossa della storica Villa di Sesta.

BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG RISERVA DUELECCI OVEST 2015 OTTINE 96 POINTS DA WINE ADVOCATE 2021

The tENUTA DI SESTA 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Docg Riserva Duelecci Ovest 2015 is only made in the best years. The wine represents a special selection of fruit that can either come from the ''ovest'' (west) or the ''est'' (east) side of the Duelecci site, depending on th weather. The soil are very rocky on the east side, making that parcel better in the cool vintages. They are thinner on the west sid, and the grapes here perform better in the warm vintages. Ther' s little doubt, I thinsk, that sunny 2015 vintage would draw its fruit from the sunset side. This is an immediately attractive and generous expressin that doles out dark fruit followed by spice, earth, candied orange and wilted blu flower. To the palate, it delivers a broad and powerful performanxce, although you don't get same etched or suoer focused charcteristics that we was in 2016. That slightly softer approach makes this a great choice for your favorite steak dinner. a mere 4000 bottles were made.

E' preciso ed espressivo e si mostra pieno di energia nei sentori di prugne nere, foglie di tè nero, caffè tostato, e nocillo. Corpo pieno, tannini cremosi e perfettamente integrati ed un finale che coniuga in modo eccellente il profilo voluminoso e la sottile austerità dell' acidità vibrante. Emozionante.

Sarà meglio dal 2022.
